Keep Seniors Healthy and Safe

Before the COVID-19 pandemic, nearly 9.7 million seniors were threatened by hunger. Due to the pandemic; we know that an even greater number of older adults are experiencing food insecurities.

Locally, CRT’s Meals on Wheels Program works to address hunger among vulnerable seniors.

We need your help to raise much-needed funds for CRT’s Meals on Wheels program. Would you consider hosting a Buy-a-Wheel Fundraiser in your business, community center or place of worship?

‘Buy-a-Wheel’ campaigns are an easy way you can impact the lives of home-bound seniors who are coping with three of the biggest threats of aging: hunger, isolation, and loss of independence.

Here’s how it works…

Stores, Businesses, Churches, or Senior Centers agree to sponsor a campaign.
Participants Buy-a-Wheel by donating any amount.
Participants will receive a colorful paper wheel they can personalize, that can be displayed somewhere in public view.
Your Buy-a-Wheel fundraiser must run for a minimum of two weeks but can always run for longer! You pick the timeframe during the springtime that works best for your schedule.
We will provide everything you need: customizable posters and paper wheels.
CRT will help to promote your participation on our social media channels.
You will collect the donations and send them to CRT at the end of the campaign.

Money raised goes directly to providing hot, nutritious meals to local home-bound seniors.

When you run a campaign, there is no cost to you, and you will impact the lives of many home-bound seniors in our community!
