Give Your Children a Love of Learning
Children start on a lifetime of learning in CRT’s Early Care and Education (ECE) program
CRT offers affordable, high quality, licensed child care and education for children up to five years of age. Centers use the nationally respected Creative Curriculum, so that all children enter kindergarten ready to learn and succeed. Brightly colored, modern classrooms offer an excellent learning environment. Skilled staff meet the needs of the whole child: educational, emotional, social and health. Children with physical or emotional disabilities are welcome.
All preschool children receive vision, hearing, dental and other screenings. Healthy meals and snacks are provided for free. Families have access to all CRT services. Staff help parents set and meet their goals. Parents can volunteer in classrooms, take workshops, participate in family activities and serve on the committees that help to run our program.
We encourage you to come in for a tour! The best time is 10-11:30 am, but call for other options.
Class schedules vary by program. Most classrooms are open 10 hours per day, 52 weeks per year. Staff speaks English and Spanish.
Eligibility is based on your child’s age and household income. Program fees are charged on a sliding scale, based on family size and income. Requirements vary by program.
Immigration status or a lack of Social Security numbers or Birth Certificates are not barriers to enrollment. CRT also works with families who are homeless, children in the care of the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and those in foster care.
Please bring the following information with you to apply:
- Child’s birth certificate

“Together we stay healthy and strong!” To comply with a recent decision by the Office of Early Childhood Development during the COVID-19 pandemic, CRT has provided special cloth face masks for ALL of the children in our preschool program that they will wear to school every day. All families were notified about this need to wear masks, and given details about how to best ensure that the children will be comfortable with their new, colorful masks at school!
