Moemedi Rakhudu as Manager of IT – Business and Data Analytics at CRT leads CRT’s data and technology modernization efforts — overseeing business intelligence, cyber security, analytics platforms, data warehousing, and software systems that drive efficiency and insight across CRT’s diverse programs. Leveraging his extensive background in software engineering and data analytics to unify systems, automate operations, optimize costs, and deliver actionable insights that enhance service delivery for thousands of Connecticut residents.

Moemedi previously served as Project Coordinator with a focus in Software Engineering at CRT, where he led numerous digital transformation initiatives including automation of staff onboarding processes, creation of cross-platform mobile applications, and data integration between state reporting systems and internal databases. His work with CRT’s HeartTeam — developing applications to log and analyze 911 diversion cases — showcased his ability to merge technology and social impact.

Moemedi holds a Master of Science in Business Analytics from the University of Rochester’s Simon Business School, where he was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society for high academic achievement. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from St. Lawrence University, where he was an active campus leader, athlete, and technologist.

Originating from Gaborone, Botswana, Moemedi brings a global perspective to his work, having also studied at the University of Otago in New Zealand and attended Waterford Kamhlaba UWC of Southern Africa, an institution renowned for its international focus and leadership development. His professional interests span artificial intelligence, data systems integration, music, and community-centered technology.
