The proceeds from this charity tournament will directly benefit CRT’s Meals on Wheels program, which last year delivered an incredible 469,943 meals to seniors across central Connecticut. Join us on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, for CRT’s 16th Annual Tee Off for Women Golf Tournament, for a round of spectacular golf at the beautiful Tunxis Country Club in Farmington. This women-only event is a fun-filled day that includes camaraderie, games, contests, food, beverages, delicious dinner, and extraordinary raffle prizes.

Event proceeds will benefit the underserved women and children who receive services from CRT.  Your support will help CRT expand our network of programs to strengthen women, children and their families with the goal of helping them to build a foundation of self-sufficiency for a brighter future.

Tee Off with Women: Spring Golf Boot Camp is a hands‑on, confidence‑building golf experience designed to introduce and re-engage women with the game in a welcoming outdoor setting. Led by PGA Professional Steve Madison, the boot camp provides practical instruction, on‑course guidance, and a supportive environment ahead of the outdoor golf season.

$50 per ticket – includes 1.5-hour golf clinic and appetizers.

Community Renewal Team in collaboration with Connecticut Art Education Association, Inc. are thrilled to announce the winners of the 33rd National Arts Program Exhibit.  Congratulations to all the talented artists.  The first-place artwork will hang in the first floor Conrad L. Mallett Gallery at CT State Capital, 950 Main Street in Hartford through May 8th.

This year’s National Arts Program featured a collaboration with The Mark Twain House & Museum Nook Farm Writers Collaborative.  The high school students created an original ekphrastic poem to go along with each first-place category artwork.
