Anthony M. De Luca

Director of Information Technology

As Director of Information Technology (IT) at CRT, Anthony manages all IT applications, systems, software, and technology infrastructure at the Community Renewal Team including IT security, policies and procedures and user support. He manages a team of IT staff people and the CRT Print Center which is staffed by an operator within the IT Department, and enables the agency to have internal print-on-demand services. Most recently, he has been responsible for overseeing the agency’s upgrade of its “Steps to Success” software system for holistic case management services.

Prior to coming to CRT in 2017, for over eight years, Anthony was the IT Director at Innovations for Poverty Action, an international research and policy organization where he was responsible for global IT decision making and managed IT staff, telecommunications infrastructure, network servers, VoIP phone systems, and software as a service applications. He identified and mitigated IT risks at country offices, which could have adverse effects on the research portfolio.

Anthony also worked as a crime analyst at the New York/New Jersey HIDTA (High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area) Intelligence Center at the Westchester District Attorney’s Office. Anthony spent 11 years in RI as Technical Director at a Providence based non-profit organization dedicated to improving the economic and social well-being of Providence, its residents, and its neighborhoods. He provided data analysis and GIS mapping for government agencies and community groups on a variety of issues, such as economic development, public safety, health, jobs, and education. Anthony has a BA in Geography from Rutgers University.
