Financial Literacy Institute: This 14 week intensive course provides an in-depth and engaging way to educate yourself and your family about tough topics in your financial world. During our financial literacy institute, participants explore many aspects of financial fitness, including budgeting and savings; establishing and/or rebuilding credit; investment planning, dealing with the financial stress of underemployment and unemployment, protecting yourself and your assets through insurance, and so much more. Classes will be held every Tuesday, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at 555 Windsor St., Hartford, CT.

FREE Homebuyer’s class: CRT offers an eight-hour pre-purchase class for the first time home buyer. The class provides in-depth instruction on the steps towards homeownership to anyone interested in buying their first home. Successful completion of this class is mandatory for Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) loan applicants under the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Homeownership Program as well other homeownership assistance programs throughout the state.
