Eviction & Foreclosure Prevention

We regret to announce that the offices will close on June 30, 2016. 

The State of Connecticut has eliminated funding for the Eviction/Foreclosure Prevention Program (EFPP) and the Security Deposit Guarantee Program, as part of the effort to reduce the state budget deficit.

Community Renewal Team cannot accept any new referrals for these programs.

If you are a homeowner having difficulty paying your mortgage, please go to the Housing Counseling page of the CRT website.  

If you are at risk of eviction and could become homeless, please call Infoline 2-1-1 or go to their website. Staff will help you obtain housing assistance through the Coordinated Access Network.
