Volunteer to End Domestic Violence—One “Tee Off” at a Time

Get involved! Your help is needed!

The tournament takes place each summer, but we need year-round support to create a successful event. Volunteers are needed before the tournament and on the day of the event. Invite your friends to help break the cycle of domestic violence.

Check out our volunteer positions below.

Volunteer Before the Tournament
Direct solicitation – Make phone calls to local businesses and organizations to solicit participation, sponsorships, advertising, and raffle donations.
Mailings – Assist with mailings including stuffing envelopes, creating mailing labels and preparing bulk mailings.
Administrative duties – Help maintain our tournament mailing list and assist with data entry.

Volunteer at the Tournament
Set up – Help place sponsorship signs and tee signs at holes. Set up the registration and raffle tables. Set up the breakfast buffet. Help serve breakfast to the golfers. Load beverage carts.
Greeters – Welcome golfers and volunteers. Direct golfers to the driving range, lunch truck, and bathrooms. Explain various contests. Distribute gift bags. Sell raffle tickets.
Golf Cart Drivers – Drive golf carts to deliver on-course beverages to golfers and volunteers, sell raffle tickets, relieve hole monitors, or take candid photographs of golfers.
Contest Monitors – Monitor on-course contests at specific holes
Raffle Ticket Sales – Sell tickets to tournament participants.
Distribute box lunches – Distribute lunches to tournament participants at the lunch truck just prior to start of the tournament.
