CATCH Healthy Habits

Services

CATCH Healthy Habits is a volunteer after-school program for adults 50+ in the Greater Hartford area. It is offered as a unique intergenerational physical activity and nutrition program that benefits children K-5 and the adult volunteers.

The program is offered in partnership with CRT's RSVP program and sponsored by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Foundation. The umbrella organization for CATCH is The OASIS Institute, which operates CATCH in 18 cities for the 2011-2012 season.

Eligibility Requirements

Volunteers must be 50 years or older and be willing to commit to volunteering for 8 out of 25 after-school sessions. Eligibility requirements vary by program site and all questions should be directed to Program Coordinator Renee Hamel at (860) 760-3087 or email at hamelr@crtct.org.

Information Session

Interested volunteers should attend the Information Session scheduled for December 14, 2011 at CRT's Main Office at 555 Windsor Street, Hartford, CT.
