Services

In 1985 CRT created a private non-profit housing development corporation, The Meadows Real Estate Management and Development Corporation, to construct, renovate and manage properties. At this time, the Meadows and CRT provide housing at three affordable rental complexes in Hartford:

Jackie Schaffer Apartments, 711 Garden Street, Hartford Ten 2 & 3 bedroom, low-moderate income
apartments

Barbour Street Apartments, 450 Barbour St., Hartford, with Six 1 & 2 bedroom, low-income apartments

Wethersfield Commons, 32-34 and 36-38 Wethersfield Ave., Hartford, with 12 spacious two, three and four-bedroom affordable apartments.

Eligibility Requirements

All residents must be income qualified and a US citizen, national or eligible non-citizen.

Applications for other properities can be picked up at The Meadows Real Estate Management and Development Corporation, 555 Windsor Street.
