Services

Community Renewal Team’s Veterans Crossing, a transitional rooming house for homeless veterans, is a 12 room handicapped accessible residence designed to break the cycle of continued homelessness and re-incarceration among veterans. Residents are encouraged to change their homeless lifestyle through the development of living skills, personal growth, recovery, self-reliance, productivity, residential stability, and community involvement.
The program is designed to give each resident an opportunity to stabilize his environment while exploring employment opportunities and a more permanent living situation.

CRT’s Veterans Crossing will provide the following Support Services:

    - Housing
    - Coordination and linkages to VA services (Medical, Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services)
    - Intensive Case Management
    - Employment Support Services
    - Development of the Steps to Success Individualized Service Plan
    - Cognitive Behavioral/Evidence Based Interventions
    - Financial Literacy and Budgeting
