Suburban Outreach

Services

The Suburban Outreach Center assist individuals and families in meeting basic needs through referrals to town offered services, as well as to CRT programs and initiatives. Income tax preparation and e-filing service is offered in the Manchester and East Hartford centers. Renter’s rebate is offered in the West Hartford and Manchester centers.

Case managers offer information and referrals to social services throughout the area. The center
is the entry point for specific CRT programs such as Energy Assistance, Free Tax Preparation Services, Toys for Tots, and Head Start.

Eligibility Requirements

For general information, referral and case management services, participants must be residents of West Hartford, Bloomfield, Manchester, or East Hartford. Eligibility requirements vary for specific CRT programs and interested individuals should contact their suburban office for more information.

Application Process

The application process varies for specific programs. For information, referral and case management services, individuals must apply at one of the suburban outreach sites.
