Family Service Centers

 

Services

Staff located at Family Service Centers throughout Hartford and Middletown, assist individuals and families in meeting basic needs with access to skill building opportunities that promote self-sufficiency. Services may include:

- Assistance in meeting immediate basic needs such as food, clothing, and shelter.
- Assessment of housing, employment, social service, and other needs.
- Information and referrals to social services throughout the area.
- Home visits for specific CRT programs such as Energy Assistance.
- Community oriented workshops.
- Access to computers with internet access.
- Distribute holiday gifts for children and families.
- Summer breakfast and lunch at some sites.

 

 

Eligibility Requirements

Eligibility requirements vary by program. Eligibility information for these programs is available at each Family Service Center.

 

Application Process

For information and referral and case management services, individuals must apply at one of the Family Service Centers.
The application process for specific CRT programs varies by program.

 

Service Hours and Locations

CRT’s Family Service Centers are open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (with special hours when posted).
