Services

Staff located at Family Service Centers
throughout Hartford and Middletown, assist
individuals and families in meeting basic needs with access to skill building opportunities that promote self-sufficiency. Services may include:

- Goal setting and wrap around case
management
- Assistance in meeting immediate basic needs such as food, clothing, and shelter, including an emergency food bank.
- Assessment of housing, employment, social
service, and other needs.
- Information and referrals to social services
throughout the area.
- VITA free tax filing
- Energy Assistance processing
- Community oriented workshops.
- Access to computers with internet

Eligibility Requirements

Eligibility requirements vary by program. Eligibility information for these programs is available at each Family Service Center.

Application Process

For information and referral and case management services, individuals must apply at one of the Family Service Centers. The application process for specific CRT programs varies by program.

CRT Community Resource Centers are open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. (with other special hours.)
