Domestic Violence Supportive Housing

Services

The Domestic Violence Supportive Housing program, funded by the U.S. Department of Justice, provides rental subsidies and supportive housing services in scattered sites to six families who are leaving Interval House, a domestic violence shelter serving women and their families in the greater Hartford region.

The staff specializes in concerns specific to victims of domestic violence, so safety and recovery continue after the family leaves Interval House. Services are available for approximately 18 months for each family.

Application Process

Each family is referred by the caseworker of Interval House.
