Byrne Memorial Housing Pilot Program |
ServicesThe CRT Byrne Memorial Housing Pilot Program is designed to provide housing assistance and supportive services to men and women who are released or have been released from prison in the last 90 days and are homeless. The program provides case management services, clinical services, and vocational services. The program is for two years, at which point clients graduate and move to other permanent housing. |
Eligibility RequirementsClients must be Hartford residents who are 18 years of age or older, have recently come out of prison and must have been homeless at least once before entering prison. Clients must obtain employment or receive some type of income once accepted into program. Clients must also be able to pay 30% of their income as a monthly fee. |
Application ProcessClients are referred to the program by prison caseworkers, shelter staff, and halfway houses. |
